What We’re All About
Whetstone Co-operative Cinema launched in 2023 and exists to put on free cinema screenings for our members from the local community.
We have a state of the art 4K projector, our screen measures over 4m wide, and our 5.1 surround sound system ensures a truly cinematic experience.
We are funded by Central Co-op Membership and are proud to embody the co-operative principles in our membership structure and hard-working volunteer group.

MEMBERSHIP
£1 per year
Our screenings are totally free for members - and membership is only £1 per year.
Make sure you sign up as a member before booking to ensure you don't pay - this will save you the full £4 per ticket.
So why do we operate membership? We're proud to be a co-operative structure (more info on our About section) and this means it's our members that choose our films and how we operate - the more members, the stronger we become.
